How to get rid of cellulite

Cellulite is the accumulation of fat  subcutaneously in the thighs, hips and buttocks. This condition is present in most women. Although no esta a serious medical condition, cellulite can be unsightly and may disturb the woman you wear shorts or bathing suit.

Many cellulite treatments, including massage and cellulite creams are shown as having remarkable results. But unfortunately, most of these treatments are not as effective as it shows. So what can you do?

Signs of Cellulite

Cellulite is a skin holes. It is often described "orange peel". Cellulite vary in severity. Mild cases can be observed only when the skin is pinched - gropitele occur when skin is caught between his fingers. In more severe cases the skin looks uneven, with "peaks and valleys. Cellulite is found more often around the hips and buttocks, but can be found on the breasts, lower abdomen and upper arms.

Causes of cellulite

Cellulite is caused by striations of connective tissue that binds skin aponeurosis muscle. These cross striations hypodermic composed of fat cells (cells that accumulate in fat). With the accumulation adipocitelor, they push the skin and connective tractioneaza striations. This creates an uneven surface, uneven.

Cellulite is more common in women than in men. In fact, most women - at least eight out of ten women - have some degree of cellulite. This is because fat is distributed to women on the waist, hips and buttocks - the favorite areas for cellulite. In addition to cellulite is more common as the age, when their skin lose its elasticity.

Weight gain can make cellulite more apparent, but it may be present in thin people. Tends to occur in several members of the same family, so the genetic factor is most important.

Other factors that may increase your risk of cellulite:

- stress

- Inactive lifestyle

- Use contraceptives hormone

   Treatment

Losing weight - by diet and exercise - Is probably the most beneficial treatment for cellulite. Loss of weight and muscle strengthening legs, thighs and buttocks can improve the appearance of uneven skin. Benefits of weight loss without other interventions are still limited. Although less noticeable cellulite will not disappear forever.

Perhaps the most promising medical treatments are laser and radiofrequency systems. Are available on the market two types of laser and light devices for safe and effective treatment of cellulite. One system uses a combination of tissue massage, radiofrequency and infrared light to treat cellulite. The second system combines tissue massage with a diode laser energy. Both systems offer improvements to the appearance of cellulite after several weeks of treatment (2 sessions per week). Results are temporary, beneficial effect lasts up to 6 months.

On many devices, products and creams are said to treat cellulite. But these assertions are not scientifically supported or are supported with little scientific data. If a treatment appears to be effective and improves skin appearance, most likely this effect is long lasting.

Here is a list of products which are advertised. Note that they have not been scientifically proven to be effective in treating cellulite:

- Liposuction. During this procedure, the surgeon inserted a thin tube under the skin through a tiny incision and then redraw adipocitele. Although liposuction can shape the body, it will not remove cellulite and cellulite can make it reappear in a worse shape.

- Vigorous massage. Some anti-cellulite treatments are based on the concept that increases blood flow vigorous massage, remove toxins and reduce excess fluid in areas frequently affected by cellulite. One method in particular, Endermologie, uses a hand passing through some roller skin. One can notice a slight improvement in skin appearance after this treatment, but effects are short term.

- Cellulite creams. These creams contain a number of ingredients, such as Vitamins, Mineral, Extracts and antioxidants and are placed on the market as cure for cellulite. But no study shows that these creams should be effective. In some cases, the ingredients of these creams can cause allergic reactions or rash..
